HaloCare is a non-medical staffing agency that connects families with reliable, compassionate caregivers for in-home support. We provide independent contractors such as personal care aides, companions, and CNAs (when available) who assist with daily living tasks including bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, and more. Our caregivers work under flexible schedules to meet each client's individual needs.

1. Is HaloCare a home health agency?
No. HaloCare is a non-medical staffing agency . We do not provide skilled nursing, wound care, or therapy. Our caregivers assist with daily living tasks to help clients remain safe and independent at home.
2. Are your caregivers licensed or certified?
Caregivers may be certified nursing assistants (CNAs), while others are experienced personal care aides or companions.
3.. Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance?
Currently, HaloCare is a private-pay service. However, we can assist you in submitting paperwork for long-term care insurance, if applicable.
4. What is the minimum number of hours per visit?
Eight hours per visit. However, we also provide "around the clock care" in your own home.
5. Do you serve clients outside of your assisted living facility?
We provide in-home caregiving services in MS and LA, based on caregiver availability. While we are based in Brookhaven, MS, we’re able to offer care wherever we have qualified caregivers willing to travel. Contact us to check current availability in your area—we’ll do our best to match you with someone nearby.
6. How do I get started with HaloCare?

7. Can you help with dementia care?
Absolutely. We will do our best to match you or your loved one with a caregiver, of your choice, that has experience in this area.
8. Is there a contract or commitment required?
No long-term contract is required. Services are flexible, and we adjust the care plan as your needs evolve.
